  They sent my car to the body shop almost 4 weeks ago for a repair that was supposed to take 5 - 6 days. The repair was for a known issue that took about 3 months to be approved by Mitsubishi Head Office. 1. No updates from the dealership unless we made multiple calls and sent 2 emails (1 to the general "WeCare" mailbox and one to the General Manager's email plus a voice mail to him directly - still no response) 2. At the last conversation with the Service Manager he asked US which body shop the car was sent to, said that I called to tell them that my body shop would pick up the car (everything was arranged by them), had no idea or record of someone picking up the car, asked if we had a loaner (no one offered us one or brought up possibility until week 3). 3. To date, I am still without a car and have made 2 payments for a car that I am not able to use 4. We are now communicating directly with the body shop (The Dilawri Body Shop located at another dealership) because while Markham Mitsubishi is happy to take my money for all the servicing and repair that they suggest and I agree to (I even got my tires from them), they have released themselves of all responsibility and accountability now that the car is not on their lot. 5. I love my car. I will not, however, purchase another Mitsubishi despite my plan to purchase another car this year due to this experience with their terrible after sales care. 6. I don't know where Jack is gone but he was the very best. 7. The body shop has been very helpful and responsive. The body shop was unable to complete the job because they were waiting for a part, which is what we were told by Markham Mitsubishi in week 2. What Markham Mitsubishi didn't tell us was that the body shop was waiting for a part from Markham Mitsubishi or that they sent the part late last week.
