  Bought a popular Sony receiver from Gentec on Cyber Monday (it was shown as in-stock). After one week my order was still in "Shipping Soon" state so I gave them a call and they said they'd get back to me within the day - they didn't. Two days later I tried to cancel the order, but there was no way to do this through the website so I sent them a message to cancel - they ignored it. I sent them another message - they ignored it. I called and again they said they'd get back to me within the day - they didn't. I called a third time and they said I need to talk to B. F. - I left a voicemail and he didn't call me back. Next day I finally get through to B.F. to find out they greatly oversold the product and it will be a week or two before they get a few of them, one of which I might get, but if not I'll be waiting another month with dozens of people that bought the product at the same time. At this point I was finally able to cancel my order after almost two weeks! I asked why it was so hard to get any information about my order and was told that he's been "on the phone" all day, every day. This implies a bottleneck on this particular person which is likely an organizational problem. I will NOT be buying from Gentec again due to poor website inventory management (they might not have the product they're selling you!), poor order management (I couldn't cancel!), and poor customer service organization (it took almost two weeks to finally get information out of the 1-person bottleneck!).

  Absolutely disgraceful warranty on the isheildz product. The glass chipped literally 4 days after I bought it. Apparently a lifetime warranty but you get hit with the $12.00 shipping and handling fee for a $24 product. If a product is defective the customer shouldn’t have to pay that cost when it’s an obvious hidden charge to recoup the manufacturing cost. Shipping of something that light should cost half the price. Would never buy isheildz again. Total scam.
